The COVID-19 protocol that we have put in place is for the safety and reassurance of staff and guests. 

COVID-19 protocol includes but is not limited to:

  • Health screening for both our guests and staff upon entering our premises includes sanitisation of hands, temperature checks and completion of register.
  • If a person’s temperature falls within the normal range and they do not show any symptoms they will be required to sanitise their hands and proceed to check-in.
  • If a person’s temperature is high (actual temperature at screening should not exceed 37.5 degrees Celsius) and/or they have symptoms of the virus they will be disallowed to check-in and will be referred to a medical facility.


  • Ongoing training and communication to all staff to keep them informed on all protective measures and protocols
  • Sick employees will stay home
  • We limit the number of staff, especially in food preparation areas
  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use alcohol based hand sanitizer
  • Wear masks and cover mouth and nose when sneezing, dispose of tissues
  • Maintain at least 1 metre distance between co-workers
  • Only FOH staff to have contact with guests
  • Respiratory etiquette means covering mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing. Used tissues should be disposed off immediately.
  • Social distancing includes refraining from hugging, kissing or shaking hands with guests as well as fellow staff members
  • All guests must wear masks when entering public areas
  • Hands should regularly be washed with soap and water and should regularly be cleaned with an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.  Hand’s should also be disinfected after exchanging objects like money and guest’s credit cards.
  • Respiratory etiquette means covering mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing. Used tissues should be disposed off immediately.
  • Frequently disinfect high touch points such as door handles / counter tops.
  • We ventilate all common areas daily.
  • Restrooms, reception area and all public areas are wiped down with a disinfectant cleaner on a regular basis throughout the day.
  • We have removed all shared guest entertainment, i.e. books, magazines, games etc.
  • Housekeeping staff will clean each room every two days and exchange linen every three days for longer stays
  • One cleaner will be allocated per room
  • We sanitize and deep clean rooms after each guest’s stay
  • We use only disposable cleaning equipment and not cloth and absorbent materials
  • We have increased check in and out times to enable housekeepers to clean rooms properly
  • Carefully handle linen and towels and placed in special marked laundry bags.  Laundry should be washed in hot cycles (70° C or more) with usual detergents and ironed with a hot iron.  Towels should be tumbled dried until fully dry.
  • All disposable items, gloves, masks, tissues, etc should be placed in a container with a lid and disposed of according to national regulations and waste management
  • All rooms will be ventilated daily
  • All air conditioning, tv remotes will be sanitized and placed in sealed plastic bags
  • All door handles, taps, furniture surfaces and light switches will be sanitized 
  • Wear masks and gloves at all times, gloves are changed between each action
  • We wrap food containers with wrap to avoid cross contamination
  • Frequently disinfect work surfaces and high touch areas, i.e. handles,taps, etc.
  • We ensure food containers, utensils and equipment are cleaned and sanitized
  • Arrange workstations at least 1-2 metre apart
  • Deep clean workplace regularly
  • Use disposable containers
  • Maintain temperature controls of food
  • Sanitize food delivery cooler containers
  • We have ensured menu is simplified to reduce production and to have less staff on a shift
  • Hand sanitizer is available on arrival
  • Wearing of masks are mandatory for all guests, unless whilst eating masks can be taken off
  • Our tables are thoroughly sanitized daily and after every use
  • We have arranged tables to allow more space between guests, to allow for social distancing
  • Menus will be sanitized after every use
  • Toilets are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly on a frequent basis
