The nose reminds one of orange peel and honeysuckle from the Semillon and herbal notes from the Sauvignon blanc. A toasty sweetness from the touch of old French oak and lees contact complements the smooth and creamy texture. The wine rewards with a long and elegant finish.

Distance From Sea: Approximately 10 km.
Soil Type: Alluvial.
Age Of Vines: 10 – 11 years.
Trellising: Verticle hedge.
Picking Date: February 2014.
Yield: 7 tons/ha average.
Alcohol: 13.35 %; RS: 2.55; TA: 5.57 g/L; pH: 3.37.
IN THE CELLAR
Yeast: Selected local strains.
The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed. The juice was immediately pressed and cold settled for 2 days at 8°C. Thereafter the clear juice was racked off its gross leese and transferred to old French oak barrels. Wild primary fermentationand malolactic fermentation.
Wood Aging: 10 months in 500/600L Old French oak.
Bottled: April 2015.
1 – 5 years.
Excellent with fish and shellfish.
74% Semillon; 26% Sauvignon blanc.
